Rona Carr


Rona Carr is the Principal and Founder of The Austin International Group (www.taig1.com), a private, minority owned consulting company.

An executive with a collaborative and communicative management style, Ms. Carr works strategically, creatively, and programmatically, with diverse leadership, artistry, employee populations, and communities both local and international. Additionally, her experience is complimented by a variety of relationships with a number of external networks, that enable her to effectively work with public outreach partnerships, interpret and apply the nuances of working cross-culturally and socially (e.g., NYC/East/West coasts, globally – Europe, Asia), and deliver focused, strategic communications to groups and individuals whenever needed. Her knowledge of sound business practices, personal attention and sensitivity, are a winning combination that helps her clients achieve their goals.

A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, in Bronxville, NY, http://www.sarahlawrence.edu, and native Californian http://www.ca.gov, Ms. Carr serves as the President of the Sarah Lawrence College Alumna/i Association, a Trustee on the college’s Board of Trustees, and is a Director and the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the National Women’s Hall of Fame, in Seneca Falls, NY, http://www.greatwomen.org, that celebrates the achievements of American women.

Residing in New York City, http://www.nyc.ny.gov, she enjoys the performing arts (especially dance, http://www.danceusa.org), reading good fiction, listening to music, traveling, and activities with friends and family.
